Case of Success:
Ultraport Angamos advances to the next level, optimizing its operational aspects

Ultraport Angamos is one of the country's leading port operators, with extensive experience in port terminals, ship loading and unloading, and consolidation of various types of cargo.
INITIAL CHALLENGES
The implementation of Eskuad at Ultraport Angamos began with the goal of addressing several operational challenges, primarily in the registration and delivery of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The initial challenges included:
• Delays in data collection and form completion.
• Data loss due to the use of paper records.
• Lack of real-time visibility, hindering operational efficiency.
• Lenghty report generation processes.
• Absence of individual records for each worker.
• Limitations in responsiveness during periods of high demand.

Advancement of the Solution
With Eskuad, Ultraport Angamos not only overcame the initial challenges but also significantly expanded the use of the platform to new operational areas, optimizing key processes and enhancing information visibility.
Expansion and New Implementations:
- Warehouse: Beyond managing PPE, forms are now used for warehouse inspections, fuel records and forklift checklists, significantly improving the quality and speed of processes.
- Supply Room: The addition of truck checklists and reception inspection records has increased process efficiency by 80%. Tasks that previously required multiple steps (such as inspecting slings, filling out paper forms, taking photos, transcribing information, and sending emails) are now completed directly on-site, automatically generating reports sent to the relevant departments.
- On-Site Checklists: For instance, hydration stations are now managed far more efficiently. Previously, wet paper made record-keeping difficult. Now, with the app, users complete everything directly on their devices, creating immediate backups and reports.
Operational Impact:
- Time Savings: Up to an 80% reduction in the time required to complete and process forms across various areas.
- Increased Visibility: Improved monitoring of damages and issues detected on-site, enabling more proactive action.
- Productivity: Over 15.000 forms completed, with an average of 1.800 forms per month in the Warehouse, Supply Room, and Salvage areas.

Regional Expansion:
Eskuad has also been adopted at Ultraport Mejillones, with over 11.000 forms completed in areas such as Acid, Docks, Concentrates, Maintenance, and HSE. Currently, work is underway to incorporate the People area.
Additional Benefits:
- Immediate and automated report generation.
- Improved data quality for decision-making.
- Elimination of paper use, contributing to environmental conservation.
- Optimization of critical operations management.

"With Eskuad, we have managed to save up to 80% of the time in processes such as inspection and reception registration in the Supply Room. Previously, it was necessary to use paper forms, take separate photos, and then transcribe the information in the office. Now, everything is completed directly on-site, and reports are generated automatically. Additionally, for tasks like hydration station checklists, we no longer have to worry about wet or damaged paper, which has greatly simplified the users' work."
CONCLUSIONS
With Eskuad, Ultraport Angamos made the complexity of its fieldwork, now simple.
The business transversally transformed and digitized multiple areas of its operations. This process has allowed for resource optimization, improved operational efficiency, and laid the foundation for further expanding the use of the solution to new areas. The successful experience in Angamos and Mejillones reaffirms Eskuad's ability to adapt to the client's specific needs, contributing to the growth and efficiency of their operations.
