Why do we care about ESG at Eskuad?

Our solution provides opportunities to optimize companies’ operations, helping them obtain economic outcomes.

Since we are in frontline operations, we help save resources and materials. A core benefit is that Eskuad helps companies comply with safety and environmental standards at their operations without investing more time and effort. This allows teams across supply chains to achieve better stewardship standards of the ecosystems they operate in and the people they work with.

How do we put ESG in Practice?

Environmental

We are committed to not negatively impacting ecosystems and support the efforts to impact positively, with the mission of ensuring our positive impact. At the same time, we help our customers achieve better stewardship of their effects in the ecosystems. Some measurements we have taken:

  1. We encourage using a public transportation system, which is why we are close to the neural network of transportation, where we have our office spaces. You can arrive by bus, subway, biking, or walking, and we have parking for bikes in place.

  2. If we need to visit a customer, we rideshare by using market solutions to share one of our rides or use public transportation.

  3. We avoid using paper and materials unnecessarily, and if we use, we use, reuse, and recycle as many times as possible.

Social

We are committed to supporting our people and customers and enhancing their positive social impact. We help our customers achieve better stewardship of their effects in the communities they work with and help their teams ensure safety operations. Some measurements we have taken:

  1. We commit to having free access to support small teams that can’t access the best tech because we know they need it. That’s why we commit to providing free access to field workers worldwide.

  2. We hire people regardless of background, race, sex, or color. We care if you are passionate about our mission and vision.

  3. We hire locals and develop local talent where we have operations, so we connect with local universities and accelerators. Currently, we have team members in Concepcion, Chile; Santiago, Chile; Portland, Maine; Atlanta, Georgia; and Tampa, Florida.

  4. We committed 10% of our time to developing personal skills or projects within the company.

  5. We share access to our networks, including offering discounts to study a postgraduate degree at one of our partner universities or free access to training sessions with our partners for our employees.

Governance

We know our team is focused on day-to-day operations, so we have set up a board to oversee and guide its decisions from the beginning.

  1. Our Board comprises experts in different areas, and we don’t care about where they come from or how they identify themselves. This led to a 50/50 ratio of men and women, a 25% minority representation on the board, and expertise in financial, operations, go-to-market, and legal.

  2. We are SOC 2 type 1 and type 2 compliant. Because we care and take responsibility and action regarding our customer’s data and its environmental impact. So, we use it as a framework for good quality.
